There has been no credible military threat against the US sicne the Cold War. That's a fact. Terrorist cells are CIA and police actions, Delta Force maybe. That's not mainstream military. Bush's using the engtire US military to attack terrorism is the biggest waste we have ever seen. However, in Afghanistan is was justified. Unfortunately, Bush immediately withdrew and went after Iraq, a huge strategic mistake with poor planning to boot. One of the clostliest mistakes in US history, which is why Bush is one of the worst presidents in US history. But that doesn't mean we get soft on terrorism, we get more targeted, tougher and smarter. John Kerry BTW is one of the foremost authorites on counter-terrorism in the Senate. One of the reasons he should be our next prez.
