ROTFLO, get even. Why would revealing plame was connected to the CIA be getting even. That's most idiotic rationale I heard in this whole silly affair. She already had been brought home years earlier because it was feared her identity had be given out by Ames to the Russians and her cover was blown. Members of the media other that Knovak said they knew of plame's ties to the CIA. Revealing wilson's wife worked as a covert agent would give more credibility to wilson and whatever stupidity he was speaking. Revealing CIA stuff about his wife benefited wilson. wilson's actions and grandiose lies about people resurrected the whole deal into the news story that was being forgotten.
