The attack against Afghanistan, more specifically, al Queda, but elsewhere it is still in dispute in my opinion.

In some ways, I think the US Government has turned many into the category of "terrorist" by attacking a country who posed no danger to its neighbors or the US. America's foreign policy, which I believe is, in part, to clear the way for Isra'El, has stirred up a hornet's nest.

Do the Arabs have justification to defend themselves against military aggression? Yes, they do. Our Government needs to pick their fights more carefully in the future.

Arab leaders, the Mufti included, seem to overstate their case. I do not think we should follow in his footsteps in word or deed. He demonized all Jews and you suggest demonizing all Moslems (ignoring that many Christian Arabs hold the same political opinion as those Moslems).
