God always gives us an invitation to join him in his work. When we "see" him, he is giving us an invitation to join him. Many times we do not "see", and we do not "hear". When the Lord is speaking , he shows me things and then tells me about them. We must have a ear to hear. We must have wisdom with knowledge. We can have knowledge of something and yet not have wisdom. We can see and not understand.

Mark 4:21-25
And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

He that hath is one that has the son and hears the son. He shall then be given more. But he that has not will lose what he has. He can't hear and can't see.

Luke 8:10
And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

We can see and yet not understand. We must see the Father and then we need his wisdom to understand what he is doing. They work together. And more important that all of the seeing and hearing, is..............
Doing what we see and hear.

Matt 11:27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

John 12:45
And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. (ONENESS)

."The Son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the Father do for what things soever he doeth these also doeth the Son likewise."
He is saying he and his Father is one. Unity! They are one. Walk the same, talk the same, do the same.

We are Chrisitans. Should be like Christ. God was his daddy and he is ours too.
I work, like him, in doing good on sabbath days as well as other days, but I also work with him.

The Father's measures in making and ruling the world are shown to the Son, that he may take the same measures in framing and governing the church, which work was to be a duplicate of the work of God.
He gives we give. He shows, we see. He speaks, we speak. Our eyes his eyes, our hands his hands, our ears his ears. Our feet his feet. One people with God. Jesus said, John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Jesus is saying what God is doing, I am doing. God is not breaking the Sabboth and I am not either.
I look like him and act like him.
I dress like him and eat what he eats, his meat.
I think like him and see what he sees.
The Son can have no separate interest or action from the Father.

If we are going to see him, it must be in the Spirit. Because we can not see him in the natural. We must see and hear in the spirit. And that comes from those that are in the spirit, not the flesh. We have too much flesh walking around and no Spirit filled people walking in it.

Gal 5:16-17
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Gal 5:25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

And it is a daily walk that not many people will take. Not many will be on that road and Not many will travel that way. Not a whole lot of people concerned about what he is concerned about and That is why you have a lot of Christians miserable in Church. Can't see and can't hear.
John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

We must not seek our own will!

Rick......hope you can use this...

I have been on to something that I feel has strong implications in ministry. John 5:19" For the Father loveth the Son and sheweth him all things that himself doeth and he will shew him greater works than these that ye may marvel"....before this Christ says...I say unto you ."The Son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the Father do for what things soever he doeth these also doeth the Son likewise."
We all know that God never rests. Yes it is recorded that God rested after creation but even Christ performed miracles on the sabbath because He saw the Father perform miracles on the sabbath.

What is so telling about this is the tense of the two words seeth and doeth. If I tell you I see or I seeth ( same tense) it is the present tense. If you say that it could mean the very close present then I would have no problem with that if that is your interpretation.

Would you agree that God has given us the power to loose and the power to bind in Jesus name What Christ is telling us is that He was always in the present tense with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He did on a daily basis what he saw the Father doing that day. What ever God was doing that day Christ did the same thing. A very important point. When Christ saw God healing the blind man then Christ found that man and loosed the blind man to see. The difference between Christ and us is that He did daily what He saw the Father doing. He did not delay . He did it the same day.

Many of our prayers are not answered because we are ahead of God. If God the Father has not done it yet then it will not get done. We must be in tune with God and doing what God is doing on that day. We must not get ahead of God.

As God's elect on the earth ...God has always had an agency on the earth that has bound and loosed what it is in God's will to do. If no one is found to be obiedient then miracles pass us by , people die, people are not healed and the enemy has his way unhindered..

For the last 400 years after the prophets the voice of God was not heard on the earth. It was the spiritual dark ages on the earth ( strange that the Dark Ages lasted 800 years or twice what the spiritual dark ages lasted ).

What I see happening, and I must put on my best pair of spiritual glasses with the best bifocal, is that many miracles also do not take place because we are late.

I am emphatic when I say that. I feel the tense of His sayings are everything. Christ used the present tense for a very good reason and a very good purpose. He was illustrating in the most simple of terms how important it is to get into the present tense of God.

In conclusion God is doing miracles evey day. God never rests. 24 X 7 God is performing miracles. God has given all authority and all power to us as members as bodies in the body of Christ.

Do you see God today. Do you see what God is doing this moment in time. Loose what God is loosing this moment and see a miracle. Bind what God is binding this moment and you will see a miracle today. Nothing is hidden from Christ and nothing is hidden from us.

One last point.

John 5 : 17....Jesus states that he was working "hitherto" and "I work"...what I feel this means is that the Pharisees were trying to get Him to justify his actions...so he was saying that He was only doing what He had seen the Father doing "up to that time".

There is a deeper meaning to this . Christ was saying that He was only doing what he had seen God do before on Sabbaths. So if God had done it before on the Sabbath then it was OK for Him to do it. Many miracles we can perform just because we have seen God perform other miracles in similar situations or circumstances. We may have seen other similarities to things we know are in the will of God and that gives us the faith and the surety that we are in the will of God. We can align ourselves with Gods word and the bible and know that we are in the will of God...

but it is always best to be exactly in tune with what we are seeing God do that day, that moment.....get in tune and see what God is doing today ....and you shall have your miracle...In Christ ...Greg
