I wonder how many were Athletes? That was my first question when I read it. I had a friend's daughter who made the Varsity Volleyball team at Berkeley. She was a "walk on" who went there on her grades. When she signed up the next year, she got to sign up for classes on the "Early Athlete" program. They really gave her a hard time about the tough classes she took. They wanted her to take a bunch of Social Science "Women's Studies" that she could sleep through. She is an Engineer at Toyota in LA now.
