Why N ? (INCO, N ) Heavily Nickel - close to a pure play

Insitutions feel comfortable buying it - single letter symbol, trades on a US exchange.

Name says "International Nickel"

When insitutions want exposure to a sector, they will buy the most visible, liquid names, even if they are priced higher than the average company. I saw this in the natural gas area a few years ago. This is also part of CAN SLIM - buy the leaders.

Unlike tech, financials, autos and other sectors, mining has been down so long few insitutions have exposure beyond what you get from an index.

Want exposure to gold miners ? - most of us think of NEM first, maybe ABX....

Also, N has a very nice chart....
