What pisses me off is that a Chase executive friend went to a company party hosted on a World Yacht trip around Manhattan. I know it costs at least $200 each guest. This was about 5-6 yrs ago.

Chase Cutting Up To 1,000 Jobs On NY's Long Island-Report
Monday October 27, 5:45 pm ET

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- As many as 1,000 Chase Bank employees on Long Island, N.Y., could be losing their jobs as the bank moves its customer service jobs to Canada and three other states in a cost-cutting move, Newsday reported on its Web site Monday, citing an unnamed source.
Most of the jobs, in a credit card customer service operation in Hicksville, will be moving to Vancouver, Canada, the source said, according to Newsday. Other jobs will be relocated to call centers in Florida, Arizona, and Texas, the report said.

Employees will be offered jobs at the new locations, the source said, according to the report.

Chase's workforce on Long Island currently numbers about 5,400, the report said.
