Actually I am very productive in my career. These days though, partly because of the stagnant Bush economy, I have to work 7 days a week to make half as much $$. Much of my work involves me sitting at the computer and thanks to DSL everything goes at high-speed. My SI posts are like coffee breaks. I do waste a little time on SI, but so do people watching TV. I also learn from it. And hopefully teach othres at the same time. Internet chat rooms are a new thing. The jury is still out on them. I have a CEO friend who spends an hour a day on one. He's after girlfriends and says sometimes it works. I'm not after anything. Just debating politics mostly. Hey maybe you're right, this is all a big waste of time. Should be going in that case.
