Greg,

It is hard for me to understand why JDSU, with that much liquidity and cash, would voluntarily choose to raise an additional $475 million thru a debt offering. What kinds of projects are they investing in that a billion + would not fund adequately?

It is almost as if they said, hell, with interest rates as low as they are, why not raise some more money while the getting is good? If we ever get profitable again, we'll never have to repay that loan in 7 years.

Not a surprise to me that the market reacted negatively to that news.
