China has a long history before 1945 in trade
unfortunately, it is laced with mercantile activity

you never attributed your brief pithy comments to any esteemed historian
I assumed they came from you, off the cuff

China's trade with tea, spices, and gunpowder goes back several hundred years
what is so confusing about that?
trade occurred by Chinese businessmen
probably not within the confines of pure free capitalism

I offer you no more substance that that
I am not an expert on Chinese history
but assumptions that China has a very limited history with free market capitalism seem (on their face) to be absurd

you can get contentious all you want
any financial editor endeavor will not include this topic
Chinese history will not be on the agenda

would you care to discuss statistical analysis?
