jacq, that announcement has also got to be good for both doing the financing/leaseback and/or having a partner do a JV with us. GE, I can think of one large company who might be interested.

finance.messages.yahoo.com

The good news is The PV companies: (1)Shell, Must be cutting way back.(2)Astropower,out of business. (3)BP company drop their thin film solar which was 15% of business nov.2002. Still sticking to crystalline solar.

The bad news is Sharp is going to push for 100 megawatt plant over capacity may be already here.

The competition is on with Sharp and Cannon and Sanyo.

Great news, but why don't they put a dollar value of the contract? As is so typical with ECD, they just do not mention financials. For all we know, ECD may be taking a loss on the venture, or even doing it for free, hoping to get further business in the long run. The company will not survive the long run if they don't start thinking about making a profit.

I am always impressed with the news realeases, and so disappointed with the quarterely financials, especially the top line revenues.
