Xactly. That's why markets have non-linear dynamics. This
also leads to stability of the markets - what one-week
speculators think of as a crash, long-term investors
perceive as a buying opportunity. However,
if most participants become short-term oriented (which, I
believe, is what's happening today), fractals say that markets become
inherently unstable, and prone to crash. I don't think there
are too many long-term investors today. They know how
overvalued these markets are, and won't buy the big dip.
