While we're there I'm for am all out cleaning up of the mess NOT to be tempered by liberal whining. Do you want to make an impact in the ME? Solve the Palestinian problem first. No American lives lost and real potential for payback. Two democratic administrations have tried to do just that...not whining. More intelligent approach. Bush favors israel too much...to use your words he is sowing the seeds of a lot of hatred towards Americans for many years to come. If your going to clean up the middle east do it right. Even Bush is doing it half a$$ed. Liberals would just tell everyone to be nice and forget about it and it comes back later only worse. Another problem is that most all of the middle eastern problem is nothing more than a holy war. We are naive to think it can be fixed by a conventional war. Exactly.
