All of a sudden I am reminded of kids deciding to hitchhike to a rock festival, like Woodstock, to check out the action. Mahmoud says to Ali:"Hey, you comin'? I hear the times are wild, and if you are martyred, it is babes and beer forever." I would not be surprised if the initiative were passing to the terrorists. Thugs are usually quite practical, and are not likely to hold out for idealistic reasons. If they figure that their days are numbered, they will seek to blend in and profit. Terrorists are romantic, and yearn for glory. I have a favorite Lebanese restaurant, near the National Zoo. I love their stuffed grape leaves with yogurt........
