This technology would be truly revolutionary if it can be
made fully manufacturable for IC manufacturing. It might
make photomasks and steppers, as we know them, out dated
in very short order if the technology is developed correctly. That means cheaper chips and more exotic wafer
material substrates to increase device speeds and ease
of manufacturing....

But, says Stanford University nanofabrication expert R. Fabian Pease, "If you look at what the extreme ultraviolet and the electron projection lithography techniques have actually accomplished, [imprint lithography], which has had a tiny fraction of the investment, is looking awfully good."

FWIW, Fabian is a windsurfing friend and he also is pictured on UTEK's technical board in the annual report. Interesting that they quote him, a Stanford guy, rather than someone from MIT.

Ahh.. his bio says he got his PhD at Cambridge.

This sounds like a technology to watch. I tried to register for the whitepaper but it barfed on my data... I hate that when I waste all that time to fill out a form online and it barfs...

Maybe someone else can try to get it and email it to me if they can download the PDF.

Thanks
