Clinton bombed every known WMD site, then the inspectors got kicked out. Since then nobody really knew. It was up to Bush's security and intelligence people to get at the truth. They didn't. In fact they deliberately lied. The Senate intelligence is only as good as the White House's. So Bush even though he had lousy trumped-up intelligence started a war anyway, unilaterally with no post-war plan. Real smart. Kerry was all over him at the time about it if you care to recall.
