SOROS, knowing how much you enjoy parables, why don't you and your cohorts on this thread chew on this one as well. notice how those who "for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away" are they which are on the rock. now pay attention. notice how that which fell on the rock are withered away. now look at what Jesus had to say about the branches of his vine that are withered away. they are cast into the fire! still convinced that your salvation is locked up??? Luke 8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 8:6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 8:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
