Ann, I don't think that our personal definitions of "fascinating" are aligned. Nor do I think that there's anything in that book that could, or would, make me decide to forgo my freedom of choice - indeed, my own small input where the forces of creative destruction in the corporate world are concerned - in favor of indiscriminately throwing money at companies that don't deserve it, whether American or foreign. Save the stories about out-of-work laborers and trade deficits for Congress the next time they erect a protectionist tariff or employ some other barrier to international commerce. And have them tell the legions of "family farms" I'm subsidizing to cry me a river, while they're at it. LPS5
