We rule in Kabul.

Sort of. Depriving al Qaeda of training camps is something useful. Scattering the survivors to the winds probably wasn't what we wanted. Losing Afghanistan ought to make life tougher for the jihadists, but they'll be settling somewhere else. If we wanted to bomb some sites where the 9-11 hijackers had organized we could try Hamburg, south Florida, Brooklyn, Tucson, San Diego. Read Steven Emerson's "American Jihad" for some insight into the lives of our fun-loving jihad neighbors.
