Back in the late 70's I actually wore out a few Styx
records because I liked them so much. When I was burning
Cd's recently, I had to burn two 80 minute discs just to
have an adequate "best of Styx" collection :-)

'Kilroy Was Here' was about the only record from Styx that
I didn't like. And the single from that LP, 'Mr. Roboto'
made me want to puke. I wasn't too thrilled with their
1999 release, 'Brave New World' either, but when you get
onto your late-40's, I can understand that teen angst &
the desire to Rock 'N Roll may be muted...... particularly
when you have lived the good life for a few decades <gg>.
My wife liked some of the tracks from it though.

I've seen clips of the Blues Bro's in concert & I must
agree with you. I bet you had a great night out. John &
Dan both obviously loved what they were doing, but they
just didn't have the talent to make a career of it. Their
passion for the blues, their great rapport & being natural
entertainers with quick wits did allow them to give an
adequate performance though.
