The screwing of America goes on, for reasons I can only imagine to be legalized corporate bribery of politicians, which I saw under Clinton and now under Bush, and some idea of future cadre of scared easily-manipulated voters, when they finally get amnesty and the vote. It's tricky in one way -- population growth is essential to offsetting future massive entitlement liabilities. Without immigration our growth would be negative, like Europe. All Californians ask is that it be legal immigration and that the feds man the border. Take a look at Democrat Judge from Chicago David Schippers book, "Sellout." I'll check it out, thanks.
