The day President Clinton tried to take out Osama bin Laden with a missile strike, every rightwinger in America said it was a case of "wag the dog." He was supposedly trying to divert our attention from the much more breathtakingly important and serious matter of Monica Lewinsky, and who did he think he was to make us focus on some piffle like bin Laden?

Oh, Molly! Clinton devoted one, whole entire missile and the time it took to say, "fire," (less time than, "Monica, I'm coming," I might add) to trying to take out bin Laden. Let's give him a medal!
