tippet,

I look at this secular gold bull as a growth situation. Like 1990 forward in the Naz. I like buy and hold in this environment, and see little LT risk at this moment. I'm letting my profits ride, after taking out the initial, plus some considerable profit. BGO from .36, GSS from .70 etc.

I will continue to add long term shares through continued buying and selling at the double/triple mark. I generate my income through trading, and this way, I always have exposure to the bull market in NG and gold without tying up my trading capital.

I understand that there is no such thing as "risk free", it's just my perception of letting the profits run so to speak, without the slippage of trading in and out. Of course, when the time comes to harvest, I will do so without delay. To each his own eh?

As I watch the action in NEM and the miners today, I am comfortable with letting the static portfolio rake in the green, just growing over time, but will not commit any trading capital to the miners. I need better visibility before doing that.

Cheers,

Bert
