my sentiments exactly
it presumes US mfrs have sufficient volume in potential exports to close a $500 billion gap
this idea sounds extremely naive
but I believe WarrenB feels compelled to offer a constructive idea

my ideas have been stated:
- allow 1/3-rd of Fortune1000 to go bankrupt
- allow 40-50 million household bankruptcies
- eliminate the Federal Reserve
- forbid all lobbying of Congressional members
- allow the USDollar to drop 50%
- return to 10% gold cover clause for USDollar
- enforce reciprocal trade barriers only to force markets open
(just for starters, a dose of reality)

we make no stereos, photocopiers, cameras, computers, other consumer electronics
and our car mfrs are losing market share to Japanese

I noticed in a department store an entire line of NFL rainjackets
nice ones, not flimsy, with hoods
official logos and everything
plenty of Steeler jackets
all made in China, every single one of them

I wonder if their competitors would laugh on ICs
probably
the price difference is most likely something like 40-50%
not the Buffet 10%
