I have tried to point out to you how wrong it is to lump a group - a religion by the acts of a few. You don't seem to get it. I don't know enough about what is going on in Russia other than what I read. My impression is that some very wealthy people got rich by taking advantage through Yeltsin and his incompetence to become personally very wealthy while the nation is impoverished. I would not condone that if the person is Jewish, Asian, Hindu, Moslem, Christian, etc. Why is it that you make this a Jewish issue? It makes me and others believe that you are a bigot. I'd like to believe that you are not. If the person is a crook, he should be punished irrespective of religion. What difference does his religion make? It's as if we should condemn all Asians for the acts of the Asian - Moslem translator who is being held for sedition in the US. Get it?
