Not much conviction in the markets today, lots of churn on high volume but nearly flat results despite a 7.2% Q3 GDP growth announcement. ....AMAT has rallied well over the last few days, getting increasing support from analysts encouraged by improving chip sales and expectations of additional fab capacity requirements to meet growing demand. I believe AMAT's Q4 earnings report is due on Nov 12... Analysts are baiting the hook IMO. Can the business support these lofty levels or is the "greater fool" theory in effect?? BB
