Thanks Vaughn. To clarify for others what triggered Vaughn's post, it was in response to this question which I had asked Vaughn via PM: Is there any way to confirm this? stockhouse.ca. If true, it would certainly send a very positive signal. Now to your "caution flag" in terms of CMD's current valuation (approx. $10.5 Mil). Prior to the recent jump in price and assuming that this jump was mainly due to SVB, CMD was valued at around $3.5 Mil ($0.20/sh). Let's call it the "shell value", let's add to that the current value of CMD's DDN shares ($1.7 Mil) and a hypothetical spec value of $2 mil for Baffin. This would bring us to $7.2 Mil or an implied spec value of $3.3 Mil for SVB. That to me is pretty low based on SVB results to date. Another way to look at it would be a comparison to DML's $15 Mil market cap. Makes me wonder if the market is overvaluing DML by $5 Mil or undervaluing CMD by $5 Mil. Given the currently positive market sentiment towards junior "dirt diggers", I would say it's the later but then again, whatdaheckdoiknow. Cheers, kidl PS: CMD dropping a little.
