I know you are looking at expenditures. I have no argument with you that Davis mismanaged expenditures.

The problem is receipts. We should have at least 20% more revenue coming in to California than the early 90s, AT LEAST because we have huge companies in this state now which were tiny fractions of themselves then.

n addition, a decline of 5.5 per-cent in revenues, or $4 billion, to $69.2 billion is expected for 2003-04.

What do we have to show for creating all these great companies in the 90s? I can tell you there is more traffic on the roads, more healthcare required and a whole grey workforce created to support the tech industry which is all eroding quality of life here so what is the point?
