I think you are right about the polls being quite useless this early in the campaign.

It's more fun to pay attention to Jon Stewart's take on the race on the Daily Show. He's got a recurring segment on the Dems called "Race From the White House". Seems appropriate what with Hillary Clinton deciding (or at least announcing) that she's on the sidelines.

Do you think the Dems are paying the Repugs back for the favor they did in '96? <g>

Any poll with Hillary in it is a joke. Has no relevance.
Women and minorities go for Hillary a lot, mainly because she is so famous. But only in these silly hypothetical polls. She isn't running and if she did, she'd be picked apart and would fall quickly.
