That is a real possibility, Tiger... but it may be a little too 'RealPolitik', a little more 'Bismarkian' than most American politicians are prepared to go with. A more traditional American policy - and one I'm generally in favor of, because I believe it produces the best long-term results, is to support freedom and democracy... and oppose tyrants. (Although, I will admit, that when speaking with regard to the Kuwaiti system of Monarchy and corruption... our choices appear less clearly outlined: a choice between grey and darker grey.)
