Huge union to back ‘Dean or no one’
But 1.6 million-member SEIU could decide to delay decision

ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 — Howard Dean would get the endorsement from the largest union in the AFL-CIO, should the Service Employees International Union decide to offer it next week, union spokeswoman Sara Howard said Thursday.

It’s Dean or no one,” Howard said.
However, there are top officials in the 1.6 million-member union that think an endorsement next week is too soon and want to delay a decision. That’s a very real possibility, she said.

Now you gotta admit, having the backing of the largest union in the AFL-CIO is QUITE a bit of help. Almost like having the nomination.

And I can't tell you how happy we Bushistas are to hear this.
