The system is so corrupted that the notion of America as a Democracy is a joke. Its America the purely Capitalistic country where we give citizens the false belief that their individual vote has value/merit. Unfortunately, that sentiment has crept into many people's thinking. That we are powerless. That kind of thinking leads to that same result...powerlessness. Many people do not exercise their right to vote. This gives an advantage to those that do, ie the republicans are able to mobilize their supporters, while the democrats have not. Ergo the power moves to the right. The party of the rich. This is the party that is supported by corporate donations, because this party does the bidding of corporations. So if you do not vote, because you think your vote is worthless, then yes you are right. A vote not cast, is worthless indeed. Orca
