At some price it becomes a take-over target in the consolidation game. Other mid-tier producers could gobble AEM up with their high-priced stock.

Andrew and John,

Weak POG made the situation even worse today. The direction could be either way depend on the mood of the market, POG and how investors read the Q report. The bad news was obvious. However, the good news is that they may have a record earning next Q if the big pile of ore which they didn't process is leached and keep up trouble free operation in Q4.

Any way, this stock is supposed to be sold by people with very high expectations. However, as you mentioned that the price has already factor in their problems. I agree that it should bounce back when POG gets higher. I also agree that this price weakness is good candidate for take over as John suggested. This is an opportunity for late comers to bottom fishing. I actually placed a buy order, but not get filled.

Well, the general stock market did not respond well to the news that the economy grew the fastest pace in Q3 since 1984. I think it just a blip. POG should bounce back to the race again tomorrow.

I bought a new seat for my motor cycles last month which was my first big spending in the last 6 months. Probably it helped the economy<VBG>. Well. I helped it again because I bought a a new 2.8 Gig computer last week. Ooops. It is my fault to help the economy. Otherwise, POG should be higher. LOL. Good investing.

Sincerely,
Wade

There were several big buyers tried to catch the falling sword of AEM yesterday. Especially at close. Looks like we will get a nice rebound today. Good luck.
