I would assume a man of Cheney's ability would be able to get about any job he wanted when he leaves office. That doesn't, however, create the basis for a conflict of interests.

Bottom line, you are a liar. Cheney does NOT stand to benefit from the contracts HAL received.

I know you are not that naive, so I have to conclude that you are playing stupid again. There is mass movement of government officials who go back and forth between lobbying the military, working at the pentagon and having private jobs in the defense (and non defense) industry. Cheney is actually a very good example of it. After he was hired by Hal, their defense revenue went up dramatically. Wonder why they hired him?
