Bush is the biggest spender of all time. And cuts taxes for the rich during a war. That's just stupid. Why can't the rich sacrifice anything for this war? makes zero sense.

You should read Kerry's book on "The New War". defense spending is irrelavant. Smart spending and strategy is all that really matters. Kerry warned against 9-11 style attacks a year before they happened. He also warned against rushing into Iraq without a plan or a real coalition. That was smart on both counts. Kerry is very tough on counter-terrorism. And let's face it, we're not at "war" with any country, we're only at war with a idea and a few cells of madmen.
