Bush screwed up his inherited economy (like he screwed up his other inhertences too).
Today I watched good people leave their jobs because of Bush's screwups again. The slow or misfit employees were gone a layoff or two ago, these were quality workers, decent humans, and assets to society who were told this morning to pack their pictures, their awards, and what the heck - take the stapler too if you want it! It sucks! Bush sucks! The Bush apologists suck too!

Yep... just as Clinton 'inherited' the Bush I economy, Bush I inherited the 'Reagan/Bush economy', etc., etc.

It always the same though: any President will blame everything bad that happens on the guy before him... and take credit for everything good.

(Maybe that's why Bush I was a one-termer... hard for him to blame problems on someone else --- when he'd been the VP for those preceding 8 years :)
