I imagine there must be great resentment against Jews in Russia. They were disproportionately represented in the communist regime and were even more overrepresented in the ruthless plundering of Russia after communism fell. Six of the seven billionaire oligarchs reported to dominate much of the Russian economy today are Jewish according to reports I have seen.
