My point was that Americans buying American products are what's really needed to pump up our economy. How can they do this if they don't have jobs?

I know that was your point, but I disagree. It's o.k. with me if Asians are buying American products & services, or if Americans are buying Indian products & services (but don't tell Lizzie Tudor [edit:<g>]) to pump up our economy.

That is partially correct. The real issue to me is the mass exodus of jobs in technology to India and China. How are we building our economy by buying PC's if MSFT, INTC and DELL are moving all of the SW, Manufacturing and chip verification positions out of the US? We are helping the individual stocks. that's it...

Dozens of companies are setting up huge development centers over seas. I see the implications of this being long lasting. New VC investments, the growth engine of the 1990's, will be a fraction of what it has been in the US.

How do you explain 7% annual GDP growth last quarter?

I see you are back...what...did you take off for the summer to attend the Democrat school of hatred, or the McCaulliffe school of smarmy pinheads?
