The American news reporting about Powell relying on plagiarized material didn't come out until about four days after it was reported in the international press, and even then we learned about it from talking head journalists on tv making reference to it. The story never made an initial showing in the print media of the U.S. Its no secret that the American media was light on Bush and company for nearly two years after 9/11. Fortunately, that's all changed now and there's a lot to bring to light.
