Hi KC - thanks for the comment - we agree that (within the subject discussed) cheaper dollar has some effect only in context of "cheaper compared to", ie in the context of foreign IOU holders. Who may (and probably do) decide to switch to equity out of treasuries or other forms of greenback. which eventually may help equity prices resist the greenback decay.

One interesting factoid: some pretty smart people tried to model the forex movements - throw enough variables at anything and it will start to behave, right? Wrong. The best performing model was a random walk.
