According to El Pais, a massive 59 percent of Europeans said they believed that Israel is the biggest obstacle to world peace. Once again we see that the Continent is united in believing that if only those darn Jews would go along to their funerals peaceably, all would be well. Derek

A new poll taken by the European Commission shows that a majority of Eurosimpletons think that Israel and the US are the biggest threats to world peace. ... According to El Pais, a massive 59 percent of Europeans said they believed that Israel is the biggest obstacle to world peace. As long as I haven't seen the poll questions I believe it was a junk survey. The Jewish Museum in Berlin has been visited by more than a million people. I don't know of any Europe-based institution for any Arab-/Moslem-oriented topic which attracts more than 5% of that number.
