How do you know if your client is liberal or not?

When you spend several hours a year talking with someone about taxes, you know whether they're liberal or conservative when you get through. Almost always.

That's odd...............I have been with my accountant for several years, and we never talk politics nor do I give to any political organizations.

I suspect how this works with you is that if the person asks you to 'cut corners' on his/her tax return, you ASSUME they are liberal. That serves two purposes.........to further bolster your questionable thesis and it makes you feel better.

Well, in my experience, most conservatives are crooks.......at least, it seems they are the ones always getting busted for some kind of tax fraud........Leona Hemsley comes to mind.
