The alternative to Bush's disasterous Iraqi policy has been put forth by nearly all the Democratic candidates (excepting Libermann). The obvious alternative is to get some help. That will mean sharing both the responsibility, and authority, and yes - even some of those billions of dollars that are creating such unsightly bulges in Cheney's pockets. The next thing would be to tell Israel to get their butts back to the 1967 green line and sign a peace treaty. Any jews left behind would become Palestinians. TP
