The GDP number is particularly bad for Krugman for it will kill his book sales about the unraveling of the US economy. To me there is nothing more dishonest than an economist with a (either left or right) political agenda.

Hi Brian,

To simply ignore the megatrend of the global digitization resulting in greater productivity and expect the same level of employment after BILLIONS of capital investment having been successfully integrated, proves the man's article is out of touch AND politically oriented.

These type of articles are just intended to raise the bar to an unobtainable goal. This is most unfair to the readers and those who must adjust their careers to a service economy vs manufacturing economy.

Does anyone really want a manufacturing job??

I don't!

Been there, done that, IT SUCKED !!!

Bob
