See, what annoys me, as down on Bush as I am, is peope who have to dilute the impact of their arguments against the things he is truly responsible for, the things that are indisbutibly his, the things I do hold him accountable for, by adding unprovable, exaggerated or just plain silly stuff. Like assertions he is wholly responsible for the drop-like-a-rock economic shift since 2000, he's the only President ever to have a majority of Europeans identify him as the greatest threat to world peace (could we see the polls from the 1800's and early-to-mid 1900's please?), and "I bankrupted the US treasury". What could have been a powerful indictment of his actions and policies instead becomes a bit of toss-away polemics. Cheers WUWT
