'Mr. Campbell said he got a call from Mr. Davis.' - should have been the other way round, and considerably earlier - it's been on the news for many days that they've got serious fire, and there is zero risk now on the coast here ... don't know about the interior, maybe still some risk, but it has to be lower than it was .... so imho there was a responsibility here, to phone Sacramento at least a week ago and say look, we have got so and so and this many planes available ... it's the same as if one of us was invaded, the other is not going to wait for a phone call, they'll spend the nickel Gulo and Sofa both have outstanding posts upthread, Gulo one on that tired and twisted label 'liberal', well spoken ... i've felt guilty for not responding, they were that good .... later .... cheers
