Even I thought that an inventory rebuild would get underway. But the non-financial commercial paper market is quickly fading from the 135.3 number on Oct.15 to 129.9 this week:

The last half of October looks like a freefall is developing in the economy. That two week W&S withholding number down 4.0% (on top of minus 1.6% the prior two weeks, minus 2.8% for month (10-3 to 10-30) as a whole) is especially a shocker.

This week's money supply:
MZM -9.4
M1 +12.3
M2 -3.2
M3 -15.1

The insiders as a group sure saw it, massive distribution especially August through October:
