100 yards is really not that far for that cal. (magnum btw) Plus, I was using a scope. Hit it near the bottom of the neck, a little bigger than the head region. Don't recommend this at all. But it can work if you are confident - and you lose no meat. Turkey hunting is some of the hardest hunting there is here in the states. So skittish. Now it's time to put away my bow and take out my muzzleloader. Blackpowder opens tomorrow in Virginia. I'm about to leave in just a bit.
