The Bushie lies about the tax codes are legion.
He said they were for everyone. False.
He said they were not weighted toward the rich. False.
He said they would create jobs. False.
He said they would fix the economy. Jury still out.
He said they were good economic policy. Only if you like deficits for as far as the eye can see.
He said "its your money" but didn't also tell us "it's your debt".
He said the estate tax cuts were for family farmers and small businessmen. LOL. More like Archer-Midland-Daniels and Walmart heirs.
He said he cares about average Americans, but his policies are skewed toward the richest only.

I agree with middle-class tax cuts to stimulate the economy. But the rich needed no help, especially in war time with deficits going to the moon. It's all about bankrupting the Treasury, isn't it? Privatizing everything and doing away with SS and Medicare even though they've already been paid for by workers. That's the longterm goal.

Yes, you are right, the tax cuts are proportionally most
at the LOW END.

However, that is also part of the political problem.
We are getting to the point where more than 50%
of the people in the U.S. have no income tax
liability. Thus, "the majority" has no problem
voting for more and more taxes on the evil "rich"
minority.

Our democracy in the United States will not survive
such a situation over time. Only a constitutional
amendment forbidding progressive taxation as
"unequal treatment under the law" will save our
current system of government in the long-run.
