I completely agree with this. A good portion of the social security and most of the medicare received by current retirees is welfare, and, to make matters worse, it goes mostly to relatively well off people, at least compared to our young.

But do you think the Democrats will fix this? Last I heard, they were accusing Bush of not being generous enough with the new medicare drug benefit. So who are the young ones supposed to vote for? No wonder they don't.
